Privacy Policy
Road gate radar assistant
Welcome to “Road gate radar assistant” (the “App”). We value your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the App and how you can manage it.
1. Information we process
We process only the information necessary to provide the App. When you search for, connect to, or control radar devices through Bluetooth, this may include Bluetooth identifiers, device model, firmware version, configuration, operating status, detection results, and communication data. It is used to discover devices, establish a connection, read or write settings, show status, and send commands.
2. Files, photos, and videos
When you actively select an upgrade file, photo, or video, we process only the content you select to import an upgrade package or complete the upload you request. We do not read these items without your action.
3. Network, upgrade, and remote assistance
For network features, we may process device model, firmware version, package name, connection status, and request data to provide upgrades, load resources, and communicate with services. If you use remote assistance, administrator login, or remote debugging, we may process the assistance code, device serial number, login identifier, role, device parameters, live status, operation results, and logs to authenticate access and provide support.
4. Logs, clipboard, and local storage
When you view, copy, or upload logs, we process the relevant log data and necessary device information for troubleshooting and support. The App writes selected log content to the system clipboard only after you tap a copy action; it does not read the clipboard in the background. Necessary configuration, language settings, and temporary state may be stored locally for normal operation.
5. Permissions
Bluetooth is used to connect to and control radar devices. Network and local-file permissions support upgrades, resource loading, log uploads, and remote assistance. Photo, video, camera, and microphone permissions are requested only when you actively use the relevant feature. Refusing an optional permission does not affect other basic features; refusing a necessary permission may prevent the related feature from working.
6. Use, sharing, and disclosure
We use information only for the purposes described in this policy. If the purpose or scope changes, we will obtain consent where required. We do not share, transfer, or publicly disclose personal information except where necessary to provide the service, when you actively request support, or where required by applicable law or an authorized authority.
7. Storage and security
Local settings remain on your device until you clear them, uninstall the App, or the system removes the relevant cache. Online logs, remote-assistance records, and administrator-operation records are kept only for the shortest period necessary for support, troubleshooting, and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized where required. We use reasonable measures such as access control, identity verification, communication validation, and least privilege to protect information.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to be informed, access and copy, correct, supplement, delete, withdraw consent, and stop using relevant features. You can manage permissions in your device settings, stop signing in or remote assistance, clear local data, or uninstall the App to stop or reduce the corresponding processing.
9. Children
The App is primarily intended for adults with equipment installation, operation, debugging, or management capabilities. If you are under 14, please read this policy with a guardian and use the App only with the guardian’s express consent.
10. Policy updates
We may update this policy because of business, feature, or legal changes. The updated version will be displayed in the App or through another appropriate method. We will give prominent notice where an update materially affects your rights.
